The Unique Moment

April 26, 2007

An experimental composer is interested not in the uniqueness of permanence but in the uniqueness of the moment. Music is a form of element, a form of sound or an unseen object. Its role is to freeze the moment and to make its uniqueness un-natural, and to become a jealously guarded possession. (Extracted from the book, Experimental Music)
