The Art oF FiguRe Skating - Dorothy Hamill

I'm currently finishing this book A Skating Life of Dorothy Hamill...narrating about her life in figure skating...facing all the obstacles she have to overcome to reach her goal as an Olympics & World champion...making do with her limited savings to take on this expensive sport, fighting depressions and all sorts of problems (eg. financial)....to get herself out on the rink and be the best...for the reason...this is what she WANT to do. She have given all her time to figure skating...practising to perfecting...always making sure she was ready for the competition.

"I worked as hard as I could. I was always the first one on the ice and the last one off...always telling myself, One more time." ~ Dorothy Hamill

This book inspires me with the messages that it is trying to convey...and I have learnt about the different characters...hm. I wish I can be on the ice too, enjoying the freedom of movement...with the beautiful accompanied music... =) Has anybody tried playing violin while skating on the iCe? hahaha.
